You are a maker, musician, writer, storyteller, nerd, producer, DJ, techie, host, coder, artist, comedian, entrepreneur, unemployed, carer, cleaner, filmmaker, scientist, journalist, simply fan – whoever you are, what you do or where you come from. If you are queer, and you are fascinated by audio, audio storytelling, listening and audio production, you are at the right place at this meet up. This title immediately brought back a memory from a few years ago. I was at a local book club meeting, and it turned out a couple of the members were also really into a specific niche history podcast I loved. It made me realize how powerful shared interests can be in forging new friendships, especially when those interests are a bit more specific. This sounds amazing! It totally brought back memories of when I first moved to a new city a few years ago and was feeling a bit lost. I'd been listening to this incredible podcast about independent film for ages, and then I saw they were doing a small in-person gathering.
