FRIDAY
16:15 AMBIENT JOURNALING LIVE
Linda Parys and Vojto Monteur
Ambient Journaling Live is an immersive talk & meet experience that blends guided journaling by Linda Parys with live ambient music by Vojto Monteur. It creates a rare pause in the middle of an intensive and inspiring day. This is a moment to slow down, connect with yourself and let inspiration flow onto paper. Before the practice begins, participants will discover how creative writing boosts imagination, supports wellbeing, and lowers cortisol levels. Then, in a shared moment of reflection, they’ll be guided through prompts designed to spark creativity, process new ideas, and leave with personal notes worth returning to. This is not a concert and not a typical workshop - it’s something in between. A multisensory format that combines sound, words and presence to recharge the mind and body. Linda Parys is a creativity trainer, brand coach, certified LEGO® Serious Play® and journaling facilitator and brand strategist. She helps people and teams reconnect with what matters by activating creativity as a daily practice. Her work blends mindful innovation, conscious rest and value-driven branding. Grounded in flow, neuroplasticity and purpose, she supports navigating change with clarity and building meaningful brands rooted in inner "why".

SATURDAY
11:00 PODCASTING WITH KIDS
Kollo Media and Friends
Podcasting is a great activity to share with kids. It's fun to interview, tell stories, let your imaginations run wild. The tools you need are probably (definitely) already in your home. Podcasting is also a great way to engage with technology and media in a way that doesn't add brainless screen time! Join our team of podcast pros who also parent as they walk you through creating a podcast. This workshop is meant for adults and kids to learn and create together. So attendance is limited to children who bring an adult with them, and adults who come with a child (same rules as legoland). Children should be a minimum of 7 years old. Spaces are very limited and require advanced reservation, here is the RSVP link: https://www.podfestberlin.com/event-details/podcasting-with-kids-workshop Please bring whatever equipment you have to work with: If you have a microphone or headset or other equipment you use to record audio, great! Could be a laptop, tablet, voice recorder or just a smartphone. We will have a few microphones and devices available to use as well. The workshop will be multilingual, English and German, beginning with a few introductory lessons being done in simple English.
13:30 HOW WE TOOK OUR INDIE PODCAST ...TO BBC
Kollo Media
Join us for an inside look at how Kollo Media’s indie podcast Dig Where You Stand evolved into the BBC World Service documentary Returning Germany’s Stolen Skulls. Hear the story behind the story — from the creative spark to international recognition — and what it takes to turn a powerful idea into a global production.
14:30 POST-PRODUCTION ON AUTOPILOT
AI Tools for Podcasts & Audio
Do you love podcasting but spend more time on post-production than recording? Chapter markers, episode descriptions, titles, SEO – it all adds up. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll show how AI can handle the heavy lifting without replacing your creativity. We’ll record live, generate chapters, create show notes, extract quotes, and fine-tune prompts together. Learn how automating repetitive tasks can save time and improve your content, so you can focus on your true passion: creating amazing podcasts. Podigee takes care of the rest.
17:15 GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR PODCAST
Nicole Gottselig
Join Nicole Gottselig, Berlin-based creator and host of Connect With Purpose, for an honest and interactive session about how podcasting reignited her creative spark. Nicole will share the story behind her shift from long-form writing to podcasting, and how she uses Riverside to capture authentic conversations, spark new ideas, and build deeper connections in a world full of AI-generated noise. This isn’t a sales pitch or a product demo. It’s a conversation about creativity, connection, and the power of voice. Nicole will also give a short walkthrough of a few Riverside tools she personally uses, followed by an open Q&A. Presented in collaboration with Riverside.
18:00 10X YOUR PODCAST VIEWS: Think Like a YouTuber
Luardo from Gutentag Berlin / Berlin & Elsewhere
Want to grow your podcast faster? Learn how to think like a YouTuber. This workshop breaks down why YouTube is the best platform for podcasters right now and how to use proven creator tactics—like hooks, storytelling, and retention—to 10x your reach. You’ll also discover why audio-only shows stop growing, how to get YouTube’s algorithm to find your ideal audience, and the simple gear setup you need to launch a video podcast today—no camera experience required.
18:15 NEUTRINOWATCH: The Garden
Neutrinowatch - Jeff Emtman & Martin Austwick
Neutrinowatch presents a performance of their upcoming episode “The Garden”. In this looping, meditative piece, our narrator visits their garden every day, commenting on his growing plants. When the plants mature, he collects their seeds; when needing more seeds, he visits his neighbors. Sometimes, a plant dies; less often, a neighbour dies. The location is based on the neighborhood Neutrinowatch co-creator Jeff Emtman lived in when he was 19, and has personal significance to him. The piece is about living an alternate version of your life, one that’s focused only on the goings-on of your garden, your mailbox, and your neighborhood. For this live performance, Jeff will perform the role of The Narrator, reading scripts created by the procedural plant-and-neighbor growing algorithm co-developed by Emtman and his collaborator, Martin Austwick. Austwick will create live music which responds to the weather, mood, growth and death happening in The Garden. Neutrinowatch is a procedural podcast created by Emtman and Austwick. Every episode regenerates itself and changes every day. The podcast is created from a set of monologues, dialogues, audio elements and construction rules written by the show’s creators - it does not use Generative AI or LLMs to create its scripts. Jeff Emtman (jeffemtman.com) is an audio artist based in Berlin. Martin Austwick (martinaustwick.com) is a musician and audio producer based in Vancouver, Canada. They created Neutrinowatch (neutrino.watch) in 2021.
SUNDAY
12:30 PODCAST PRODUCERS COFFEETALK
Round Table
A get together for podcast producers to share their experiences, expertise, contacts and also some croissants and coffee. In the words of Linda Richman "Talk amongst yourselves." There are so many of us doing this work here in Berlin, yet we rarely meet.
14:00 DEMYSTIFYING THE PODCAST SERIES
Robert Nicholson
Approaching multipart stories with the resources YOU have. Join Robert Nicholson, Senior Editor at Whistledown Productions, and start telling the multi-episode stories you want to share. Learn how to sustain the story and make it work even if you don’t have a massive team or a big budget. Robert’s documentary work appears on BBC World Service’s flagship podcasts, and we highly recommend his multi-award-winning BBC Radio 4 series “The Great Post Office Trial This workshop is meant for adults and kids to learn and create together. FRIDAY
17:30 THE UNIVERSE OF ROAST
Host Emin Afandi
The Universe of Roast: OzemBig. “You are overweight - people hate you. You start losing weight - people hate how you lose it, because you’re on OZEMPIC. That’s not the way they wanted you to do it. You lose weight anyway - now people hate you for daring to actually get smaller. There is literally no way to satisfy anyone. And that’s exactly why, on October 17th, everyone is getting roasted. We’re putting a light on this dark subject. Because let’s be real - weight, shame, and body politics are some of the hardest conversations to have. But here, we’ll finally see the light… between the legs of this matter. At this special live recording of Universe of Roast, we’ll take on fat-phobia, fat-shaming, and the relentless pressure to look a certain way - and break it down with jokes sharp enough to cut through society’s bullshit. Everyone’s welcome to come. If you’ve ever been told your body is wrong no matter what you do, this is your night.”

20:45 MEGAN'S MEGACAN
Hosts Konrad and Megan
A podcast in English about German politics, and also cans. Megan’s Megacan was conceived on a late night/early morning between two pals on the banks of a canal – which is a romantic way of saying it started as a drunken conversation in the outdoor section of a Kreuzberg club. Megan, a secondary school teacher, was lamenting her lack of knowledge of German politics to her pal Konrad, a journalist, and asked him if he would tell her about the news if she showed up to his flat ‘with a couple of megacans every once in a while’. Konrad, amazingly, agreed and suggested they make a podcast out of it, or, to quote directly, ‘tape it and put it on the internet.’ Even more amazingly, they both actually remembered the conversation the next day and, seven years later, they are still recording. Just don’t ask about overhang mandates. Cheers! https://megansmegacan.com/

19:30 STORIES FROM THE BEAUTY PARLOR
Annamaria Olsson and Pamela Chomba
Each episode unfolds as an intimate portrait of a beauty parlor and the women* who work there. Through these stories, our listeners will gain insight into diverse cultures and customs, all centered around the universal theme of women* wanting to look and feel their best. As a space that is both private and communal, the beauty parlor provides a window into deeper topics, blending feel-good content with rich, insightful storytelling. As our journey progresses, we will share narratives about complex, globally relevant issues, humanizing individuals from communities otherwise misrepresented by a single, oversimplified political narrative. Our goal is to bridge the gap between traditional beauty media and the activist sphere. With our “feel good, do good” approach, we are working to raise awareness of the issues explored in each episode, building a global community that champions women*’s stories. GUEST Charissa Chioccarelli is the founder of isla World, an expressive beauty brand that started as a cult nail studio and grew into a global platform blending beauty, music, and culture. With a focus on self-expression and cultural exchange, Charissa has built isla into a creative hub that connects communities worldwide.
